Bieber fever hits Character World
Character World has signed a deal to design and produce a full range of bedroom textiles for fans of the hit pop sensation Justin Bieber.
The north west based licensing company has teamed up with the world’s leading music merchandising company Bravado to create a range of Bieber bedroom furnishings.
Bedding and accessories including sleeved fleeces and cushions will be available from Autumn 2011 at a range of retailers including Argos and Littlewoods as well as Character World’s consumer website www.characterworld.uk.com/ from the end of April.
Danny Schweiger, joint managing director at Character World commented: “Teenage girls are wanting more than just a poster on their bedroom walls. Bieber fever is sweeping the nation and Character World will be ensuring the pop superstar is featured on the bedding of girl fans across the country. It’s a real coup for the business. We’ve tested our designs out on fans and their reactions have been fantastic. We are already looking at ways to expand the range. Pop acts are a huge growth area for us.”
