Turner CN Enterprises hire new territory manager

Turner CN Enterprises has announced the appointment of Christian Zeidler as the Territory Manager for the Middle East.

Zeidler is charged with leading the development and execution of licensing strategy for Turner CN Enterprises in the Middle East and integrating this into the wider channel objectives for key brands and properties. In conjunction with the Cartoon Network Arabic Channel team based in Dubai, he will manage and implement a 360 degree licensing approach. Zeidler is responsible for establishing and managing effective relationships with local companies, licensees, stakeholders and key retailers to negotiate deal terms and maximise commercial and branded opportunities.

Previously Head of Sales and Marketing for stationery and branded toys for the Middle East and North Africa at one of the leading global toy manufacturers, Zeidler has a proven track record of developing business in the retail industry in the MENA region. In his previous role he was the project leader on the development of the stationery and toys product portfolio for the Cricket World Cup 2011 and played an integral part in developing the go-to strategy for the MENA region and India.

Potential partners will have the opportunity to meet Zeidler in June when he will be attending the Licensing International Expo in Las Vegas. His diary is now open for appointments; please email Christian.zeidler@turner.com to arrange a meeting.

Christian Zeidler commented on his move: “I’m thrilled to be taking on the exciting challenge of ensuring maximum exposure of Turner CN Enterprises’ key properties across the Middle East. Cartoon Network is a household name, now I have to ensure that we successfully establish this brand with leading retailers across the region.” He adds: “There is a huge demand by children, teenagers and even adults across the region to buy merchandise from their favourite Cartoon Network shows, such as Ben10, Johnny Bravo and The Powerpuff Girls. I am also very excited to manage the licensing strategy in the Middle East for a variety of new shows including new brand boys property Generator Rex.”
