Allsorts launching Yoga Dogs in Europe
Allsorts Licensing has been appointed European licensing agency for the Yoga Dogs brand, and will be launching the property at Brand Licensing Europe.
The highly popular Yoga Dogs brand, created by Dan Borris and Licensed in the US by Looking Good Licensing and in Europe with Allsorts Licensing has generated a tremendous amount of momentum in its short lifespan. The whimsical collection of photographs that capture a broad cross-section of loveable pooches doing Yoga against, brightly colored simple backdrops.
The three companion brands, Yoga Cats, Yoga Puppies and Yoga Kittens all incorporate the same clean and elegant photographic approach. The animals in these poses are in fact doing a variation of actual yoga poses with the assistance of the photographer's wife, Alejandra diaz Berrio, who is a professional yoga Instructor. Photographer Dan Borris then takes a handful of images and works his magic to create a finished picture of a yoga posing pooch.
The brand has enjoyed several years of top ranking sales success as a calendar and was the second best selling title sold on Calendars.com for two years running.
In the US licensed products include greeting cards, calendars and other dated products, plush, wall décor, back to school products, gift items for pets as well as humans. Additionally a high end large format coffee table book will be published by Harry Abrams in 2012. Puzzles and prints and posters along with a broad array of fun novelty items will also be available at retail. A full range of upper body apparel, tee shirts for adults and children is currently in development. Yoga Dogs continues to evolve with new treatments. A recent collection was created with scenic backdrops as well as vintage retro scenes.
The UK is the European launch territory and the categories licensed to date include calendars, greeting cards, posters, a range of giftware and gift books.
