Mondo TV opens licensing agency
Mondo TV has opened its Italian licensing agency, Mondo TV Consumer Product, for the sale of licensing, publishing and merchandising rights, held by both the Group and by third parties.
Guido Bertè, a descendant of a family of industrialists and dealers, has been appointed as head of the general management of Mondo TV Consumer Product. After taking his first steps in the family businesses (including the historic Quadriga bicycle factory), he worked with the Grazzini Group and then with the entrepreneur Enrico Preziosi in the development of two important retail chains in the toy sector: Giocheria and Toys Center.
His twenty years’ experience in the toy retail business was fundamental for Guido Bertè, for the development of basic training in licensing, a fundamental element to interpret the expectations and needs of the trade and of the more dynamic and evolved consumer.
According to Orlando Corradi, the president and founder of Mondo TV: “The creation of a licensing agency within the Mondo TV Group is an element of fundamental importance both for the visibility of our properties and because significant revenues and margins from the exploitation of the licensing rights are prognosticated for the group in the next few years.”
In the forthcoming years, the Mondo TV Group intends to expand the agency to an international level, starting from the European market.
