Waybuloo launches in the Middle East
Following securing a broadcast partner in the Middle East, RDF Rights (RDFR) has now secured a licensing agent for Waybuloo in the territory.

Copyright Licensing Agency has been appointed to represent merchandising rights for Waybuloo in the Middle East (excluding Israel) focusing on securing licensing partners across all categories, excluding toys and publishing.
Waybuloo launched on Baraem, the Al Jazeera owned pre-school Arabic television channel, in August. RDFR has licensed the channel the first 100 episodes of the series, which broadcast twice daily in Arabic during weekdays.
Angeles Blanco, head of international licensing RDFR commented: “We are delighted to be extended our licensing programme in the Middle East. Copyright Licensing Agency will be working closely with RDFR to develop a long-term strategy for the licensing and retail programme, replicating the success Waybuloo has already enjoyed in the UK in the preschool sector.”
In addition to these international deals, RDF Rights has recently secured two new UK licensees - MV Sports for Waybuloo wheeled toys and Mookie for playballs.
Waybuloo currently airs in 79 countries worldwide. Internationally, licensing programmes have rolled out in Australia and New Zealand. Waybuloo DVD’s and Egmont books have launched into ABC stores across Australia with Fisher-Price toys launching at Christmas. Other key categories will roll out late 2011.
