James Corden to narrate Little Charley Bear
Chapman Entertainment has revealed British comedian James Corden will star as the voice of the narrator in Little Charley Bear - set to launch on CBeebies in early 2011.
James, a BAFTA winning comedy actor, writer and producer, has great attention to detail and his ingenious timing creates television that is pure pleasure to watch, so much so that The Independent hailed James Corden "the hottest property in British television". As well as Little Charley Bear, his latest work includes a number one World Cup hit single, ‘Shout for England’, and he will star alongside Orlando Bloom in next year’s blockbuster, The Three Musketeers.

Little Charley Bear is aimed at young children aged up to four years. It is a contemporary, gently paced show that inspires creativity, discovery and imagination. It has the feel of a classic children’s television show but with brilliant CGI animation by Annix Studios based at Pinewood. Through imagination, children can learn and develop on a personal, social and emotional level with Little Charley Bear - the way he communicates his ideas, thoughts and feelings through movement and role play can aid and educate children all around the world with visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learning styles.
Other characters playing in Charley’s room include Frozo: a penguin, Midge: a teddy bear, Rivet: a robot, Nibblit: a rabbit, Caramel: a cow and Bellarina: a ballerina.
Key licensees already signed to Little Charley Bear include Vivid Imaginations (master toy partner), HIT Entertainment (home entertainment partner and television distributor), Zap (bedding), Worlds Apart (home decor), Blues Clothing Limited (outwear) and Aykroyds / TDP Licensing (nightwear / underwear) and Rainbow (costume character).
