NCP UK announces today at Brand Licensing Europe a raft of deals and renewals with key licensees for evergreen properties SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer.
International Greetings have signed a two year deal starting January 2011 to produce a full range of SpongeBob SquarePants stationery. Retailers have already shown a strong interest in the range for 2011 which will sit alongside existing International Greetings iCarly and Dora the Explorer stationery.
Vogue have signed a two year renewal for their range of SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer drinkware, tableware, lunchware, storage and lighting. The term has been extended until December 2012 and will feature products including tumblers, lunch boxes, lamps and torches.
Instant Gifts’ deal term has been extended to March 2011 which will include an expansion of their SpongeBob SquarePants gift range to include the next big craze to sweep the nation; novelty shaped elastic bands, which will be branded Krazy Bands and distributed through independent gift channels.
Grossman have extended their deal term for novelty toys to run throughout 2011. The range will be expanded to include SpongeBob SquarePants jumping beans and novelty shaped elastic bands. The novelty bands will run alongside Instant Gifts’ Krazy Bands license, but be distributed through toy retailers.
