BHS launch Cartoon Network-branded kids corners

BHS has signed a deal with Turner CN Enterprises to rebrand the children’s sections within their in-store restaurants to Cartoon Network Kids Corner.

The initiative soft-launched last month and is now available in all BHS in-store restaurants.

Families can choose from a special Cartoon Network menu branded with characters from a variety of popular Cartoon Network properties. The launch of Cartoon Network Kids Corner is an exciting development in the successful relationship that Turner CN Enterprises enjoys with the retailer. In 2009 BHS ran a Ben 10 promotion that saw a huge uplift on all Ben 10 merchandise. 30 per cent of all licensed boys apparel in BHS features Turner Broadcasting brands.

Working with BHS on the launch of the Cartoon Network kids corner initiative is a key part of our ongoing commitment to drive the presence of our brands in-store ”

Roger Bolton, food services director BHS agreed, saying: “I believe Cartoon Network will provide a strong platform to further enhance our children's food offer within our restaurants. The familiar characters will be easily recognisable to our younger guests encouraging them to select from our wide range of options on offer.”
