Bluebirds Brands, one of the UK’s leading producers of licensed goods, is extending a range featuring the classic Mr Men and Little Miss characters to include umbrellas.
The original Mr Men picture books from Roger Hargreaves were first published back in 1971 and have since expanded with the addition of the Little Miss characters. The property is now a huge hit across publishing, television and the internet.
Bluebird Brands has already produced a line of branded event crackers featuring Mr Men and Little Miss, covering Christmas, Valentine’s Day, birthdays and parties. The new umbrella line will see the company produce a range of delightful branded brollies for the tween/teen market.
This latest deal adds to an increasingly impressive portfolio of licensed merchandised produced by Bluebird Brands. “Mr Men and Little Miss is an absolute classic brand that spans generations – kids love it and parents remember it from their own childhood, so we’ve got high hopes for this adorable new range of umbrellas,” says Rachel Needs, brands and licensing director at Bluebird Brands.
