Flair gets behind Fairies

Flair heightens support for Disney Fairies brand ahead of theatrical release for new Tinker Bell film.

Flair Plc’s marketing support around its delightful Disney Fairies collection is to take full flight ahead of the theatrical release of the new Disney Fairies film, Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue. The campaign will be starting this weekend with sponsorship of the film’s premier party at the Mayfair Hotel, London. 

he Disney Fairies collection has this year seen a dramatic rise in popularity for Flair making it one of the premier girls’ brands in the company’s portfolio. The collection now incorporates Micro, Mini and Fashion dolls and figures together with hero playsets for autumn.

Supporting the brand from now until Christmas will be a heavyweight TV campaign across all networks with emphasis on girls aged between four and nine. To enhance this further, a three-month campaign in Tinker Bell and Sparkle World magazines has just begun, with all areas of the brand featured in special advertorials that are designed to immerse girls into the world of Tinker Bell, her friends and their life in Pixie Hollow.

Claire Powley, brand manager for Disney Fairies, commented: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the premier party for Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue. Our new collection centres on the film and has been really well-received so it is fitting that we can support the film’s opening celebrations. The awareness created by the theatrical release of the film combined with the marketing support Flair is putting behind the brand, will cement the brand’s success for retailers this autumn.”

Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue is released in cinemas nationwide on Friday 13th August 2010.
