Gogo's goes Vintage

Bulldog Licensing, licensing agent for Gogo’s Crazy Bones, has announced that the smash-hit collectable is set for a starring role at the forthcoming Vintage at Goodwood Festival.

Vintage at Goodwood will place from the 13th to the 15th of August and is the first of what will be an annual celebration of creative British cool from the past sixty years. Organisers have chosen Gogo’s as part of the ‘Future Vintage’ section, which celebrates iconic brands that are so popular now that they are set to be the collectable classics of tomorrow.

Gogo’s Crazy Bones are innovative figures produced by Magic Box International and PPI Worldwide Group and are firmly established as the number one selling toy-collectable in the UK. With market-leading sales across a number of categories, the brand is set to be boosted even further with the release of a new range later this month, backed by a heavyweight TV campaign.

Gogo’s’ popularity is reflected in an incredibly strong licensing programme with the brand represented across a wide range of categories, including publishing, apparel, greetings cards, stationery, back to school, calendars and giftware. Licensees include publishing giants Random House and Penguin, apparel firm Poetic Gem, and MV Sports and Leisure, which is set to launch a hugely anticipated plush range this year. A BTS range from Alpa is also set to be released this season, along with craft toys from Toybrokers, a monthly magazine from Titan and celebration cakes from Lightbody.

“Gogo’s Crazy Bones is an absolute phenomenon and it’s fantastic that the brand will be making an appearance at Vintage at Goodwood,” says Bulldog MD Rob Corney, “it’s an acknowledgement of not just its incredible popularity but also the property’s staying power – it really is hotter than ever and Gogo’s fever shows absolutely no signs of abating!”
