console game have been unveiled by Deep Silver, the games label of Koch Media, a leading producer and distributor of digital entertainment.
Based on the hit ITV talent show The X Factor, the multi-territory game is a collaboration between Deep Silver and brand owner FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) and is due for release this autumn.
The game will capture all the excitement and entertainment of the TV show and will include auditions, boot camp and judges' houses levels, as well as several game modes from individual career to duets and battles. Whether players dream about becoming the next pop superstar or prefer to compete against their friends and family in the comfort of their living room, The X Factor offers an interactive experience true to the biggest entertainment show in Europe.
Singing along to 28 different songs from major recording artists (including U2, Lady Gaga and Pixie Lott), players can unlock bonus tracks, achievements, and unique items to customise their character during the course of the game. The game offers two major play modes: career mode and party mode, and will be available on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Wii and PlayStation3.
The X Factor game will be available in numerous European territories where the show is made - including the UK, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden - from the end of 2010.
