Big Tent hires Weiner
Big Tent Entertainment has announced the appointment of Lisa K. Weiner as director of brand development.
Lisa brings over 20 years of experience in licensing, brand
management, sales and marketing to Big Tent Entertainment. In her new
role, Weiner will look to help maximise all Big Tent Entertainment’s
brands in licensee sales and at retail.
Weiner comes to Big Tent Entertainment after nearly eight years at
Random House Children’s Books where she served as director, brand
management. During her tenure, Weiner supervised key children’s
properties such as Barbie, Thomas and Friends, Richard Scarry, and
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer functioning as the primary business
liaison for Mattel, Hit Entertainment and Classic Media, among others.
Prior to joining Random House, Weiner held leadership roles at Golden
Books and Mattel, specifically in the areas of licensed publishing, as
well as many other licensed categories like home furnishings,
stationery and activity.
