Bologna Book Fair readies itself
The Bologna Children’s Book Fair will open its doors for the 47th time
this week and will welcome visitors to the largest international event
dedicated to the children’s publishing and multimedia industry.
This year's programme of events features a wide choice including
workshops, conferences, openings and seminars. There’s also a
discussion arena, the Author's Cafè Programme, for all professionals in
the publishing industry.
For the first time the entrance ticket to the show also allows
visitors entry to both Bologna Children's Book Fair and Kids Licensing
Forum.
The Kids Licensing Forum will feature the presentation of new
properties from Backstage, Smart Brands, Disney Consumer Products,
Mediaset, Warner Bros Consumer Products and sneak previews by Mattel
Brands.
This year’s LIMA Keynote Speech is on the subject of What Makes a
Brand Licensable? held by Ciaran Coyle (Beanstalk Group UK), and the
international seminar on the most famous publishing brands.
There’s
also a workshop series, held by the key players in the licensing
industry.

The Fair runs from Tuesday 23rd March to Friday 26th March at the Bologna Fair Centre - Piazza Costituzione Entrance.
