Bluebird launches FABulous new range

Bluebirds Brands has teamed up with renowned design company Bang on the Door to produce a new range based on the FABric Animals brand.

FABric Animals are the unique characters that first featured on a range of T-shirts designed by Bang on the Door. The collection now utilises photography and three dimensional depictions of the original animals using recycled and reclaimed fabric creating a unique style and look.

The new line will follow the creative use of eco messages and Bluebird Brands is using a wide range of fabrics to create products including canvas bags and fabric plush. The products are set to be exclusively previewed at Autumn Fair in September.

Ian Downes from Start Licensing, Bang on the Door’s licensing agent, said: “We are pleased to add Bluebird Brands to our licensee list for FABric Animals. They are a company with great ideas, fantastic product development skills and a real desire to succeed. Bang on the Door have really enjoyed creating this new range with them.“

Bluebird Brands is steadily increasing its already impressive portfolio of licensed products and this new deal comes hot on the heels of an agreement to produce an exciting new range based on the best-selling Collins Gem series of dictionaries. Other lines cover character, celebrity and fashion and include classics such as Mr Men & Little Miss and Scooby Doo, as well as hot new brand Pip and Co.

“FABric Animals is perfectly suited to licensing,” says Rachel Needs, brands and licensing director at Bluebird Brands, “The eco-friendly theme will chime with a lot of people but the products are also great fun and the unique designs means that this new range is guaranteed to really stand out on the shelf.”
