CPLG Sport to represent equestrian brand
CPLG Sport has agreed global representation licensing rights for the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI), responsible for managing and promoting equestrian sport disciplines throughout the world.
Established in 1921, the FEI is the international governing body for jumping, dressage, eventing, driving, endurance, reigning, para-equestrian and vaulting.
In partnership with the FEI, CPLG Sport will be creating a style guide specifically for licensees. Product categories to be targeted include apparel, non-technical riding wear, publishing and interactive, toys and games and gifts. The group’s offices in mainland Europe, North America and Canada will
all be involved in the licensing activity, which will be co-coordinated
through CPLG Sport’s global headquarters in London.
“With its headquarters in the Olympic capital, Lausanne, in Switzerland and 133 affiliated National Federations, the FEI is a truly international brand and with our network of offices we are well set up to manage the opportunities it will present," says Nicola Lord, senior commercial manager at CPLG Sport. “Equestrianism is one of the world’s most successful sports and CPLG Sport is very excited to be working with the FEI.’
Carsten Couchouron, executive director commercial at the FEI, comments: “The FEI is extremely proud of its heritage and reputation and it is key for us to be working with just the right company when it comes to licensing. With their specialist experience and international offices we consider CPLG Sport to be the right partner. We are looking forward to having high quality FEI-branded product in the market place over the coming months’.
