Hong Kong Licensing Show 2011
The Hong Kong International Licensing Show 2011 will be staged from 10-12 January 2011, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
This year, the event was co-located with the HKTDC Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair, HKTDC Hong Kong Baby Products Fair and Hong Kong International Stationery Fair. Strong results were achieved and the Show has developed into a 'must attend' event for local and international intellectual property owners and their agents.
The 2010 show recorded its biggest year of participation with more than 140 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions, representing eight per cent growth from the previous year. Over 13,000 visitors from key decision-making licensees, distributors, manufacturers, and marketing professionals from 109 countries / regions packed the gangway and booths.
The Premier Asian Licensing Awards also took place alongside the show, provided an ideal platform for leading international and local licensing professionals to examine the latest trends in the industry and to find a wealth of business matching opportunities.
In 2011, with LIMA's commitment as the show’s co-sponsor, organisers Hong Kong Trade Development Council will be inviting even more manufacturers, merchandisers and procurement executives from prominent retailers and department stores in the region to visit the event. The show is now open to potential exhibitors, with those applying before 31st August benefitting from an early bird discount of ten per cent.
