LazyTown signs new deals across Europe

LazyTown’s  popularity continues to grow with new deals signed in Greece, Benelux and Portugal.

LazyTown has signed its first two licensing deals aimed at the Greek market. The first deal was made with GIM SA in Greece for LazyTown stationery, backpacks and back to school Items. The agreement covers Greece, Southern Cyprus and Malta and products are set to launch early 2011. A deal was also made with 'Star' - John Papadopoulos and Co - for PVC balls. The product will launch early 2011 in Greece, Southern Cyprus and Malta.
 
A publishing deal has been concluded with Big Balloon to cover the Benelux region. The agreement will consist of story books, magazines and comics, and product will be available November/December 2010.
 
Portugal also continues to build, adding new licensing partners. Educa is the latest partner to join the LazyTown licensing programme in Portugal. They have taken the license for puzzles and board games and will enter the market with product January 2011.

LazyTown continues to be very popular with the Portuguese children, seeing fantastic sales in toys and a great demand for the characters at the latest Canal Panda Festival in June this year.
