What's 4 lunch?

Busy parents struggling to know what to put in their kids’ lunch boxes have received a much needed boost from leading lunchware manufacturer Spearmark Housewares as new website offers lunch-time inspiration.

The fun and informative www.whats4lunchclub.com website, launched just last week, contains a wealth of information, including text from the Department of Health Food in Schools ‘What’s for lunch? guide’, to help inspire adults to pack healthier and tasty lunches for their children.

The new site also invites visitors to join the ‘What’s For Lunch? Club’, giving members’ access to even more packed lunch ideas, yummy recipes and competitions to win cool lunchware prizes.  There’s even a games zone containing lots fun printable activities, designed to be added to children’s lunchboxes and keep them entertained at lunchtimes!  The website will be updated regularly to keep children and grown-ups returning hungry for more!

www.whats4lunchclub.com is being promoted via a swing tag on all of Spearmark’s lunchbags and boxes as well as via a targeted consumer press campaign.

Alex Bloom, commercial director at Spearmark, explained: ‘‘Healthier lifestyles and the continued battle for healthier packed lunches remain a key focal point with media, consumers and retailers alike. This, together with the success of our ‘What’s For Lunch?’ booklet, launched back in 2006, have compelled us, as leading manufacturers of children’s lunchware, to continue to promote healthier packed lunches and drive the UK one step closer to encouraging their children to eat more healthily”.
