DHX makes new appointments
Chris Bartleman to head kids division, while Stephanie Betts joins as VP, development.
Steven DeNure, President and COO of DHX Media is pleased to announce
the appointment of Chris Bartleman to the position of EVP Production
and Development, DHX Kids. In his new role he will oversee production
and development of children’s programming across DHX Media’s Halifax,
Toronto and Vancouver-based subsidiaries..
DHX Media has also appointed Stephanie Betts as VP development, DHX Kids. Betts joins the company from Breakthrough Films and Television, will be charged with managing DHX’s development slate of kids shows in all three offices, and will work closely with key creative talent across the company.
Steven DeNure said: “We have three successful and experienced kids production units within DHX and Chris’s new role overseeing all output will be invaluable in enabling the company to continue to play to its strengths in creating a diverse range of kids entertainment.”
Chris Bartleman added: “We have a wealth of creative talent at DHX Media, and with the addition of Stephanie to head up kids development, we’re looking forward to working with the team to create great projects for our broadcast partners around the world.”
