JCB charging ahead with new deal

Supreme Imports, Europe’s largest distributor of consumer batteries and associated products, has signed a brand licensing agreement with JCB, the world’s third largest manufacturer of construction equipment.

The agreement, which will see Supreme Imports launching a range of JCB branded consumer batteries, will also herald the introduction of a range of JCB-branded sealed lead acid industrial and leisure batteries.

This new range will comprise of batteries for security systems, alarms, emergency back up systems, solar power, telecoms, mobility scooters, golf trolleys, marine and motor home applications.
 
Sandy Chadha, the managing director of Supreme Imports commented: “The global trade and consumer recognition of the JCB brand is enormous. This factor, along with the brands association with reliability and durability, means that the new sealed lead acid battery range will help existing and new customers generate extra sales. In line with Supreme’s existing philosophy, the range will be competitively priced with great service and back up.”
 
John Atkinson, business development director of JCB Consumer Products adds: “We are delighted to have signed a licensing agreement with Supreme Imports. They have produced a first class product which reflects the attributes of the JCB brand. They are a well-respected company with vast knowledge of both the consumer and industrial batter sector markets.”
 
The range will be supported with full colour literature, point of sale material, promotional support and a scrap battery collection service will be available.
