Vegas sees Puppy Love reunion
Donny and Marie Osmond met - for the second time - with DCD Publishing’s Michael Gottlieb and Puppy Love in Las Vegas last week.
LWT mentioned that Michael was on his way to the Donny and Marie show to meet with Donny for the second time in its final Vegas blog entry.
Michael went along to the show, which took place at the Flamingo showroom, to celebrate the end of a
very successful Licensing Expo. He attended
along with Simon Skelton of Big Ideas and Cathy Malatesta
and Bryan Taw of Lawless Entertainment. After the show they all met up with Donny and
Marie. Michael had met Donny once before, at the height of Donny's teen idol fame in 1972, when he was just 15 - and LTW has the evidence to prove it!
Puppy Love is set to launch within weeks and will hit the shelves at Tesco and Toys R Us in the UK in September. A first of its kind, the puppy sings the
original iconic hit ‘Puppy Love’, written by Paul Anka and a worldwide hit for Donny Osmond. It is the result of a groundbreaking partnership between Chrysalis
Music, Posh Paws, Universal Music, Big Ideas and DCD Publishing.
Puppy Love is the first product delivered by DCD Publishing’s music merchandising division, launched in April 2009 by Michael Gottlieb.
