Little Ewe lands large retailer

Bulldog Licensing has announced that design-led property Little Ewe has been signed up by a major UK retailer across a number of areas with the range set to hit the shelves next month.

Little Ewe is lost and lonely and only has the wool on his body to keep him safe and warm. His one wish is to find his way home. It’s a long journey, and on his travels he meets many new friends like Popcorn Pig and Lilac Moo who have lots of adventures and give hugs and friendship along the way. The more hugs he receives, the closer he feels to home.

The new deal will see Little Ewe appearing on a major apparel line as well as a range of other categories. 

Little Ewe is now one of the biggest names on Moonpig.com, worth an estimated £500k on that site alone, but he also appears on greetings cards from Danilo and plush toys and gifts from Posh Paws, as well as featuring in a top-selling mobile download from Sharpcards.
 
Little Ewe has a starring role in Moonpig’s multi-million pound TV ad campaign – shown to be the UK’s fourth most recognised television commercial in an unprompted survey by Marketing Week and also featured in his own music video downloadable via the site at the end of 2009.

“This new deal is absolutely huge,” says Bulldog MD Rob Corney, “it underlines Little Ewe’s enormous potential for generating revenue at retail and will send interest in the brand through the roof.”
