Mister Maker Makes It Big

RDF Rights secures a host of TV sales deals for hit kids arts and crafts show

As a result of these deals, Mister Maker now broadcasts in over 100 countries and can be seen in a number of key territories including the UK (CBeebies), Canada (Treehouse TV), Germany (Super RTL) and Latin America (Discovery Kids).
 
Mister Maker has been sold to the CITI Channel in the Ukraine, Ecuavisa in Ecuador and Al Jazeera Children’s Channel in the Middle East. Each broadcaster took all three series.  RDF Rights,  part of the RDF Media Group, has also licensed series two and three to ABC Australia and Hop! (Israel) while NTV7 in Malaysia and Medicorp TV12 in Singapore picked up series one and two.

Mister Maker launched on CBeebies in the UK in 2007 and is one of the top performing programmes on the CBeebies channel. Following the show’s success, the BBC recently commissioned another twenty episodes of the show. Series four - entitled Mister Maker Comes to Town (20x20-min) - will see Mister Maker taking his artistic talents on the road.

RDF Rights has signed a number of Mister Maker licensing deals in the UK to date. Creativity International, Dorling Kindersley, Penguin Books, 2 entertain and Golden Bear. Mister Maker also makes a regular appearance in the BBC CBeebies Art magazine.
