New appointment at RDF
RDF Rights has appointed Karen Vermeulen as its new VP head of TV sales and co-production, Kids and Family Division.
Karen, who will take up the new post this month, joins RDF Rights with
a wealth of television sales experience. Most recently she held the
post of director, programme distribution, UK and Eire at The Walt
Disney Company where she worked across the wide portfolio of kids,
prime-time series, news and reality formats, working closely with other
lines of business to maximise franchise opportunities.
Prior to this Karen headed up the Kids’ Sales and International
Operations at National Geographic Kids Entertainment / NGTI, where she
was responsible for sales and pre sales worldwide, as well as securing
co-production broadcast partners. Other roles include territory
manager, UK, Ireland, and German-speaking Europe at Entertainment
Rights PLC where she was responsible for the sales of the pre-school
and tween animation portfolios as well as the brand roll out in each
territory.
