2010 Capital Elite Manager Woman Award

Milan-based Atlantyca Entertainment’s CEO Claudia Mazzucco has been awarded with the 2010 Capital Elite Manager Woman Award by the China Italy Foundation with Milano Finanza in partnership with Italy-China Chamber of Commerce.

Claudia was given the award in recognition of her invaluable initiatives dedicated to expanding children’s literacy growth between China and Italy.
 
The awards were given by former CEO of Fiat and Corriere Della Sera, Mr Cesare Romiti.  Foundations Italy China and Milano Finanza annual awards ceremony held on November 24, 2010 in Milan.
 
The China Awards 2010 is an initiative aimed to identify the individual and corporate entities, which during the course of 2010 contributed with their dedication, vision and mission to enhance the business relationship between China and Italy.  Other award recepiants include such key company’s as: Byblos, Olivetti, Prada, Natuzzi, Mapei among the others.
 
Commenting on the awards, Mazzucco said: “As a multimedia rights holder of the world famous mouse journalist, Geronimo Stilton, Atlantyca has always been involved in the globalization of this made-in-Italy copyright in order to educate and entertain children throughout the world. As a result of the opening of our new office in Beijing, Atlantyca has quickly created a stable stream of ideas, both to and from China, and built a bridge between the two cultures to facilitate the exchange of the so-called soft gold, a term we use for content.
 
“We are extremely pleased to be honored with these prestigious awards and proud of the cross-cultural achievements they recognize. I would like applaud the vitality and energy of the Chinese people – in particular those in the children’s publishing community – for creating optimal market conditions to make these achievements possible.
