Aardman's Shaun And Timmy Celebrate Bafta Wins

Aardman’s TV shows Shaun the Sheep and Timmy Time were both winners last night at the Children’s BAFTAs 2010.

Shaun the Sheep won for Best Animation and Timmy Time for Best Pre-School Animation.

Shaun the Sheep’s second series has won multiple awards to date, including the International Emmy for Children and Young People just last week.  The property continues to gain popularity worldwide, with strong ratings across the globe and an ever growing online community, with more than 688,000 fans on Facebook.

Timmy Time launched in April 2009 on the Cbeebies channel in the UK and has gone from strength to strength ever since, selling worldwide and most recently launching on Disney Playhouse in the USA.

The company’s digital arm, Aardman Digital, was also nominated for a Children’s BAFTA in the Interactive category for hugely successful online game Home Sheep Home, which has enjoyed more than 68 million plays to date.
