New Little Charley Bear Licensees

Chapman Entertainment is pleased to announce that William Lamb Footwear and International Greetings are the newest licensees to get on board with its adorable pre-school property, Little Charley Bear, launching on CBeebies in January 2011.

Stylish footwear designers, William Lamb, will be launching a new Little Charley Bear range set for release in A/W 2011, which will include shoes, sandals, trainers, slippers, 3D slippers, boots, wellingtons and jelly shoes.  William Lamb Footwear has held the license for Fifi and Roary footwear since the launch of both brands, so it is great news for the Chapman camp that they are supporting Little Charley Bear from day one.

Sandra Vanstan, licensing manager, William Lamb comments: “We are delighted to be supporting Chapman again with Little Charley Bear, the mix of this adorable bear and his wonderful world of imagination with the clever narrations by James Corden are sure to be a winner!”

International Greetings has a raft of experience in the field of Stationery and Arts and Crafts. They will be launching Little Charley Bear products in Spring 2012 including complete art packs, poster art sets, chunky crayons and colouring wheels, with prices starting at £1.

Valerie Fry, Director of Licensing, Chapman Entertainment comments, “New licensees for Little Charley Bear keep on rolling in – we can bear-ly contain our excitement. There is a great buzz in the industry about the brand, which is simply brilliant! William Lamb Footwear and International Greetings are committed partners, and we’re very pleased to be working with them on Little Charley Bear.”

Chapman Entertainment, the creators of Fifi and the Flowertots and Roary the Racing Car, produced Little Charley Bear with CGI specialists, Annix, based at Pinewood Studios. Each episode is seven minutes long, and features a resourceful and playful teddy bear called Charley, under the watchful eye of his friend, the Narrator, voiced by James Corden. The narrator provides Charley with guidance through the show, however it is Charley and his imagination that drive the story.
