BIG AND SMALL’S BIG TOUR
CBeebies furry friends have been embarking on their first national tour this week.
The stars of the hugely popular CBeebies show Big and Small have been on their first ever national tour this October half-term. The two best friends took to shopping centres across the UK from Monday 25 – Friday 29 October 2010.
Big and Small’s Big Tour visited the following locations:
- Bouverie Place Shopping Centre, Folkestone (October 25th),
- The Grange and Pyramids Shopping Centre, Birkenhead (October 26th),
- Middleton Shopping Centre, Manchester (October 27th),
- Market Place Shopping Centre, Bolton (October 28th)
- Fishergate Shopping Centre, Preston (October 29th).
Fans had a chance to come along and meet them in person and even have their photograph taken with the loveable characters – a BIG memento of an encounter to remember.
Whilst at the shopping centres, fans also followed a trail to find the duo, who were mischievously hiding in shop windows. There were colouring competitions and Big & Small themed make and take workshops to join in with too.
The cuddly duo ran a special competition at each location to win a complete set of Big and Small’s books from Harper Collins. Including the new Big and Small collection, which hit shelves this autumn and are sure to be a big hit with fans of the show.
