Disney award for LEGO
This week saw the LEGO Company win the coveted Disney Global To Licensee of the Year Award for 2010.

The global Toys team at Disney Consumer Products reviewed and voted on the efforts of more than 600 toy licensees. The LEGO Company won the prize for its 2010 range of high quality, innovative construction ranges for Toy Story, Cars and Price of Persia.
Commenting on the award, head of sales for LEGO UK and Ireland, Fiona Wright said: "We are extremely proud of the work we have done on the Disney range. It’s worth over $200 million dollars worldwide and we see the LEGO - Disney collaboration as a vital part of our future."
With growth in 2011 planned at a massive 28 per cent across the four major product lines LEGO is set to build an even stronger presence for its Disney range throughout next year.
