Peppa Pig World announced for Paultons Park

E1 Entertainment has unveiled the first details of Peppa Pig World, a fully branded environment which will feature the world’s first ever Peppa Pig rides, scheduled to open in the UK from Easter 2011 at Paultons Park, a popular family destination located in New Forest, Hampshire.

Created in close partnership with Paultons and the show’s creators Astley Baker Davies, Peppa Pig World will offer seven new and uniquely themed rides all inspired by the award-winning animated TV series. Rides will feature the Peppa Pig family car, Miss Rabbit’s helicopter, Grandpa Pig’s train, George’s dinosaur, a Balloon ride, Danny Dog’s car, George’s boat and even a ride in the 'clouds' around Windy Castle.

Some of the most popular and recognisable elements of the show will be re-created to make guests feel like they are inside Peppa’s world. This will include an area where guests will be able to splish and splash in muddy puddles and a not-to-be-missed opportunity to see Peppa Pig’s house - a superb fully animated attraction where visitors can watch Peppa and her family enjoying breakfast in their hill top home. Along with the themed rides and outdoor play area, Peppa Pig World will also boast the only Peppa Pig themed indoor play area in the country.
 
Commenting on the deal Hannah Mungo, licensing manager at E1 Entertainment says: “We are extremely excited to be working with Paultons on Peppa Pig World. The partnership with Paulton’s will mark Peppa’s first entry into the theme park arena and we are confident that Peppa Pig World will extend the relationship consumers have with the brand beyond the TV show and product range into real-life experiences that will be treasured by families in years to come.”
 
Peppa Pig World will play a significant role in the brands licensing strategy and is testament to E1 Entertainment’s commitment to long term strategic growth. Series 3 and 4 of the show are currently in development with new episodes scheduled for delivery in 2011, 2012 and beyond. Plans are also in place for Peppa’s 10 year anniversary in 2014. The licensor is carefully selecting high profile partnerships such as Paultons to explore new ways of marketing Peppa to consumers whilst maintaining the brand values central to its appeal.
