Pink Panther and Pals head to Cartoon Network

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures (MGM) and Rubicon Group Holding today announced that Pink Panther and Pals, the first new Pink Panther series in seventeen years, will premiere this weekend in the US, on Cartoon Network.

Pink Panther and Pals continues the hilarious adventures of one of the most-beloved animated characters of all time, the one-and-only Pink Panther. Each show contains two episodes of a teenage Panther and his buddies, and one, episode featuring the Ant and the Aardvark characters.

“Pink Panther is one of the best-known characters in animation history,” observed Rubicon’s executive producer David J. Corbett. "Cartoon Network getting behind this new series by featuring new episodes every Sunday this spring is giving Panther fans across America something new to laugh about.”

The new show, which will air on Sunday, March 7th at 7:30am is based upon the animated Pink Panther character created by David DePatie and Friz Freleng and the Pink Panther films of Blake Edwards.
