Wembley date for FA licensees
The Football Association’s official licensees enjoyed all the action and atmosphere of international football at Monday’s England vs Mexico fixture, as guests of The FA and CPLG Sport, the licensing agency for the England brand.
Representatives of key licensees attended the match at Wembley Stadium and enjoyed hospitality pre-kick off and during the game.
Feedback was very positive:
“It was a fantastic night out – wonderful football and the hospitality was excellent, many thanks to The FA and CPLG Sport!” said Andy Downie, licensing and marketing director, Zap Ltd.
“It was great to see the England team in action so close to the start of the World Cup and at a time when England licensed product is selling so well across the country,” commented Trevor Jones, Danilo.
“Monday was a fabulous night out and a great chance to meet up with other licensees and talk over our experiences. The general feeling is that hype surrounding the World Cup and the England team is having a very positive impact on sales,” added Paul Hodgson, managing director, Home Win Limited
“As the World Cup approaches and anticipation grows, we and The FA wanted all our licensees to experience the vibrant atmosphere surrounding English football first hand,” said Nicola Lord of CPLG Sport.
