Entertainment One buy rights to new Glenn Close film

Glenn Close will be at the Toronto International Film Festival for the world premiere of Rodrigo Garcia’s Albert Nobbs 

Making its debut at the Roy Thomson Hall in Canada, Entertainment One grabbed the Canadian rights to the Irish-set drama in which Close plays a woman passing for a man.

The U.S. rights had earlier gone to Liddell Entertainment and Roadside Attractions.

The Irish set drama, an adaptation of the 1982 Off-Broadway stage play was directed by Garcia, and won Close an Obie award.
