Redakai signs a mob of deals

More licensing partners for Zodiak Kids' Redakai

Redakai, Zodiak Kids/Marathon Media's hot boys' property has attracted a vast number of key licenses in France including Apparel, BTS and Comics.

Market leader Tennessee have snapped up BTS including schoolbags and stationary; apparel has gone to TV Mania who will develop casual clothing, nightwear, underwear, swimwear, and fashion accessories; long established Dargaud will bring Redakai to life with a range of comics; Aventure Diffusion has walked away with shoes and slippers; CTI have wrapped up bed linen, bathroom linen and sleeping bags; D’Arpege outdoor ranges will cover bikes, skate-boards, roller blades, scooters, and protective pads; and a QSR promotion is set for the end of 2012.

Patricia de Wilde, Senior Vice President at Zodiak Kids/Marathon Media states, “We are thrilled by the enthusiastic response to Redakai. Even with all the well established boys properties in the industry today, our licensees clearly see potential for Redakai to excel in a very competitive market.”

The original concept of Redakai was developed by Spin Master in conjunction with Marathon Media Studios. Zodiak Kids/Marathon Media hold the global TV and licensing rights excluding North America, which are held by Spin Master, along with all toy rights. Cartoon Network is the licensing agent in the US, Latin America and EMEA (French-speaking Europe), while Zodiak Kids/Marathon Media manage the licensing rights in France directly.
