Record sales figures for Goochicoo
Figures just released by online greetings specialist Moonpig.com have shown that an incredible 23,000 cards featuring design-led property Goochicoo were sold via the site over the Christmas period. This was part of a record number of sales for Goochicoo on Moonpig during the fourth quarter, 2010.
Goochicoo is the baby/toddler brand that is throwing the competition out of the pram with a range of little characters with ‘nappitude’ that are accompanied by slogans such as ‘Toy Racer’ and ‘Give Peas A Chance’.
The brand has proved a hit in the licensing sector, with

responsible for a wide programme that includes cutlery by Tommee Tippee, branded bedding by Izziwotnot, wooden toys from Kiss HK, greeting cards from Moonpig, apparel from Poetic Gem and publishing lines from Little Star.
A TV-advertised range of interactive plush dolls from MV Sports and Leisure has proved to be a hit with consumers and is set to be added to with brand new lines later this year, whilst a Goochicoo range from licensed goods specialist Bluebird Brands – including mugs, luggage and travel accessories, and car accessories – is also set to hit the shelves in 2011.
