Shaun the Sheep to make live show debut
Aardman’s Shaun the Sheep will be making his stage debut in a brand-new live production, Shaun’s Big Show, during 2011, with a UK tour starting on 17th February.

The show will presented by Calibre Productions, known for its previous stage adaptations including ‘Morse’ and ‘Porridge’, and has been adapted by the ‘National Children’s Dramatist’ David Wood, whose acclaimed catalogue of children’s stage adaptations include ‘Babe The Sheep-Pig’, ‘The BFG’ and ‘Tom's Midnight Garden’ amongst many others.
All of the favourite characters from the hit series will feature in this wholly live show, including Bitzer, Shirley, Timmy and the rest of the flock in a fully choreographed music and dance extravaganza.
The show will see a stage-struck Shaun deciding to put on a very special show for all his friends, there’ll be some madcap mayhem ahead as they dance and prance their way through a series of adventures under the nose of the short-sighted Farmer.
The property enjoyed a successful 2010, winning several awards including a Children’s BAFTA and its second International Emmy.
