Studio 100 announce new International Licensing Director

Studio 100 has announced the appointment of Marie-Laure Marchand to its newly created position of International Licensing Director.

Marie-Laure Marchand will be in charge of the development and implementation of international Consumer Products strategies in coordination with its existing Benelux and German teams.

This nomination is part of a well established international expansion plan of Studio 100 Group in the youth entertainment industry as well as in the licensing area.

Marie-Laure will be based in Paris within the animated studio, Studio 100 Animation, created back in 2008.

With more than 17 years of experience in the entertainment area, specifically in the youth sector (Nelvana and more recently Big Bocca), Marie-Laure will bring her licensing expertise in France and internationally as well as her in depth media knowledge.

Hans Bourlon: “Our goal is to widen our presence and replicate our business model internationally and Marie-Laure Marchand has joined the group to help us reach this target. Marie Laure has an extensive track record in the licensing and media business, as VP of Licensing and Marketing of Nelvana Europe and most recently as Managing Director of Big Bocca TV and Licensing. Studio 100 Group is proud to have hired such an experienced and highly respected professional. Her primary focus will be to manage our international licensing development and successfully launch the Maya brand across the world.”
