US representative for Mondo TV
Mondo TV has named Chicago-based domestic distributor Showplace Television Syndication
as the exclusive US sales representative for its slate of FCC educational compliant animated kids TV series.
The new agreement was jointly announced by Matteo Corradi, board member and senior vice president of Mondo TV, and Hal Pontius, chief Executive officer of Showplace Television Syndication.
The series that Showplace will be representing in the US includes the 52 x 13-minute episodes of Angel’s Friends, Puppy In My Pocket and the new Virus Attack.
Angel’s Friends features the adventures of Raf, a very young angel who with her best friends, Urie and Dolce protect the planet against the evil Guardian Devils. Puppy In My Pocket sees a world where friendship in Pocketville is the focus of this animated series and lonely pets are assigned to loving children to care for them.
Virus Attack is all new boys focussed sci-fi based animated series, which follows the heroic offspring of a pacific town kidnapped by an evil alien who have been mutated into monstrous viruses in order to conquer Earth. As the Earth faces pollution, a group of the offspring use their special powers to help save the world.
“Mondo TV has established itself as a worldwide leader in the production of quality animated programming for children and young adult audiences. The Mondo TV-produced series we will be unveiling in the US, share in common the highest production values, compelling stories and characters and important FCC educational compliant citations. We look forward to introducing this extraordinary slate of animated entertainment to the US broadcast and cable community at NATPE,” commented Hal Pontius, CEO of Showplace TV Syndication.
