Summer In Transylvania spreads across Europe
Zodiak Kids has extended distribution for its live-action kids’ show Summer In Transylvania to Nickelodeon in Germany, Italy, Benelux, Nordic, Spain and Portugal.
Summer In Transylvania originally premiered on Nickelodeon in the UK.
Nickelodeon has acquired the rights to 20X30’ episodes of the contemporary live action comedy series, which follows the exploits of school girl Summer Farley.
When the Farley family relocates to Transylvania, Summer is faced with monstrous new challenges in her new world including a community made up of zombies, werewolves, vampires and mummies.
Karen Vermeulen, SVP global sales and coproduction, Zodiak Kids commented: “After its UK premiere, we are delighted to be working with Nickelodeon again to roll out Summer in Transylvania to a host of new territories. This new and exciting show taps into kids’ universal love of everything supernatural, which I am sure will be a hit with Nickelodeon viewers.”
