Zodiak strengthens Mr Bean licensing
Zodiak Rights has secured a deal in the UK for a Mr Bean range with gift company Half Moon Bay to produce a wide range of products including mugs, glassware, bags, wallets, tinware, keyrings and magnets.
This new deal comes as Cartoon Network’s UK Boomerang channel reveals that the Mr Bean animated TV series is the channel's number 1 show in the second quarter of 2011 and has been seen by 6 million people since its launch in autumn 2010.
Mr Bean has also seen his popularity rise on Facebook where he currently holds the position of the number 1 public figure with over 15 million fans.
Jane Kennedy, senior UK Licensing Manager, Zodiak Rights commented: “The Mr Bean brand continues to perform well in all media and we are delighted to add Half Moon Bay to our range of Mr Bean licensees’ with new bespoke products.”
The new licensed range will launch later this year.
