Bulldog nets new Shoot deals
Bulldog Licensing, the representative for iconic football magazine Shoot, has announced details of two new licensing agreements for the brand.
The new deals will see Portico coming on board for a range of Shoot-branded greetings cards and gifts, whilst Samuel Eden has re-signed a licence for Shoot socks, having launched a range last year that performed extremely well at retail.
These partners join an existing programme that includes Poetic Gem for adult apparel and publishing company Iron Gut for a range of limited edition framed wall art, featuring classic Shoot images.
Shoot has been the voice of football for fans of all ages since its launch in 1969 and continues to enthrall football followers of every generation. Bringing the iconic imagery of the brand together with the name, which is synonymous with quality, will lead to a compelling retail line.
“Since we introduced Shoot to the licensing community we have attracted a huge amount of interest and these latest deals add to what is an increasingly strong programme,” commented Bulldog MD Rob Corney. “I think a lot of Shoot’s appeal lies in the fact that it’s a non-partisan football brand, without any of the associated risks that retailers can face when stocking team-specific merchandise. Shoot is an exciting brand with a remarkable heritage and we believe that it will prove itself as an evergreen football property.”
