Angry Birds and K'nex build a deal
New line of building toys for the birds
US toyco K’Nex has inked a deal with Finland’s Rovio Mobile to produce an Angry Birds line of building toys.
The sets will launch in Autumn 2012 and will feature popular Angry
Birds characters, buildable launchers and other elements from the game,
which has been downloaded more than 600 million times. The set is aimed at children ages five and up,
The deal joins a wide range of other consumer products for Angry Birds which includes apps, merchandise, entertainment and book publishing.
