Downton Abbey star to visit the Toy Fair
TV star is lured by the fun of the fair
Gibsons are back exhibiting at the Toy Fair again after four years
away and to mark this special occasion, Lesley Nicol who plays the
feisty cook Mrs Patmore in the award winning Downton Abbey will be
appearing on the Gibsons stand on Tuesday 24th January from 12.15pm.
Lesley will be available for photographs and will be giving out baked
goods which Mrs Patmore has rustled up from the kitchens! A signed
Downton Abbey jigsaw puzzle will also be available with every order
placed.
The second series of Downton Abbey attracted a 21 per cent audience
increase on the first series, with an average of 11.5 million viewers
watching the first six episodes – making it the most popular drama
series on UK television for over 10 years. Whilst the Christmas two hour
special was the most watched TV programme on Christmas Day, beating
EastEnders into second place.
Gibsons Downton Abbey puzzles are presented as a montage portraying a
real sense of the characters, scenery and drama. They offer a sense of
nostalgia which Gibsons puzzlers love, but will also make the perfect
gift for Downton Abbey fans everywhere! Available as 1,000 and 500 piece
puzzles and like all of Gibsons’ jigsaws, they are made from 100%
recycled, high quality board which can be framed to display in pride of
place, or made again and again for many years to come.
