New Andy's Wild Adventures website
Aardman Digital Partners with BBC Natural History unit to launch New Andy’s Wild Adventures website for Cbeebies
Aardman Digital is proud to unveil the new website for the new CBeebies show,
Andy’s Wild Adventures,
which it produced in conjunction with the BBC Natural History Unit. The team at Aardman have seamlessly blended video and music content from the show with original interactive elements designed to take kids on an exhilarating trip into the wild
Launching this week, the site features 2 environments – The Amazon and the African Savannah.
Two further environments, The Arctic and The Rocky Mountains, will be launched at the end of March
Aardman Digital has created a wealth of interactive activities and mini-games for the website designed to help children understand animal behaviour through entertaining, repeat gameplay. Hosted by the show’s presenter Andy Day, the new website features rich, photo-real environments inhabited by 'real' animals, with an expandable Factfile
Lorna Probert, Head of Aardman Digital comments, ‘It’s been a pleasure to work with the BBC again on this project and we’ve really enjoyed creating the official website for such a fascinating new show. We hope that the site will become a unique digital destination that children will want to return to time and time again.’
Andy’s Wild Adventures
is an ambitious new BBC Natural History Unit series for CBeebies, targeting 4-6 year olds and fronted by Andy Day. Through Andy’s first hand experiences the show introduces children to animals’ characteristics, behaviours and environments enabling them to develop an understanding and empathy for the animals and love of the natural world.
