National Wildlife Foundation opens their vault
For the first time ever, NWF is making a small selection of its vast
collection of donated nature and wildlife images available to the
general public
These initial selections offer a glimpse into the stunning content that
exists within the NWF collection. NWF has amassed over 30,000
photographs over the years sent in from amateur and professional
photographers.
“A number of the images are actual photo contest winners and just flat out stunning,” said Mark Wexler, Editor of National Wildlife Magazine.
In addition to the photography, the collection also includes classic wildlife art dating as far back as 1938 from artists such as Roger Tory Peterson, Charles Frace and Francis Lee Jaques. NWF has approximately 3,500 wildlife art images in its vault – many within this exclusive collection have never been released. The site can be found at http://nwf.photos.org
