Peppa Pig has renewed its deal with the UK's largest toy designer
HTI, the UK’s largest privately-owned toy designer and manufacturer, has renewed its existing license for its range of Peppa Pig branded Role Play children’s toys to 2013.
New products include a medical case, a pull-along vacuum cleaner and a tea party picnic set.
The deal – which covers the UK – was struck with Entertainment One which specialises in the acquisition, production and distribution of film and television content.
Peppa Pig is currently the top-selling pre-school girls’ license and the BAFTA-award winning animation is now in its seventh year.
Andrew Coplestone, licensing director of HTI said: “Peppa Pig has been one of the most successful children’s programmes over the last few years and it is now a flagship license in our portfolio.
“Signing this new deal has given us the opportunity to revitalise our existing range and to bring some new and innovative products to the market.”
