Tarco takes on Dr Who licence
Vending machine market goes mad for the Doctor
BBC Worldwide has awarded the UK and international Doctor Who vending licence to Tarco International.
Tarco International will produce a Doctor Who capsule toy range for distribution via coin-operated vending machines. The first launch will start with 3D character danglers and a collection of eight mini figures to be used as bag charms. Further collections may include mini slide viewers
with scenes from the show, pull-backs, mini light-ups, character yo-yos, bouncy balls and 3D mini bobble head characters.
Following launch in the UK, Tarco International will expand their distribution into other markets with regular product releases as the licence establishes itself further. The first collection will launch in time for Summer 2012 - the busiest period for the vending industry.
There will be subsequent collections released prior to the BBC broadcast of the next series of Doctor Who.
