Famous children´s character arrives in Spain after an agreement with Microsoft and Nokia
The production company Zinkia, creators of successful Pocoyo, has
closed a strategic agreement with Microsoft and Nokia so that Windows
Phone users in Spain can access various Pocoyo applications.
Over the next few days the Pocoyo TV and Pocoyize apps will be available
on Windows Phone devices, after their success on other mobile platforms
and having had 1.5 million downloads in a little less than a year.
Pocoyize, the fun application through which users can create their own
character with the Pocoyo theme and characteristics, has become a global
phenomenon, having been used by over 14 million people through social
networks and smartphones.
The Pocoyo TV application permits users to enjoy the best episodes of
Pocoyo and his friends. This application, which offers access to a
catalogue of more than 50 episodes of the famous series, has recently
reached 350.000 downloads.
Iñigo Pastor, CEO of Zinkia, comments: "This alliance is a step forward
in the company´s strategic plan, which is focused on making Pocoyo a
multi-platform entertainment brand, and catering not only to its
children fan base but also to those fans of various ages, which also
number in the millions".
