Fireman Sam Little Heroes Competition
HIT Entertainment, in conjunction with The Sun newspaper, have launched a nationwide search to find Fireman Sam’s Little Heroes – children aged between three and ten who have followed in the footsteps of their favourite fireman and potentially saved lives through an incredible act of bravery.
The child deemed the ultimate ‘Little Hero’ will have their story re-enacted by the characters of Pontypandy in an episode of the recently green lit series 8, which will be delivered in Spring 2012.
The campaign will run until 25th March and will be judged by the original Fireman Sam creators, Dave Jones, Dave Gingell and Rob Lee as well as representatives of HIT Entertainment and The Sun.
Former fireman Dave Gingell commented: “We’re looking for a child who has spotted a dangerous or potentially hazardous situation and called for help, whether that’s by alerting an adult or by calling 999 themselves.”
